The RBB4-G is a 4 dial high resistance decade box especially constructed for the simulation of high resistances and the calibration of insulation test sets. The maximum selectable value is 1000 Megaohms in steps of 100 kΩ. The top 2 decades will withstand up to 1000 volts dc.

Each unit is supplied complete with a calibration certificate with test figures for each decade position.

CONSTRUCTION
The switches and coils are mounted on a bakelite sub-panel and protected by a grey painted metal cover panel.

Switches: CROPICO type SP1 incorporating 8 mm diameter stud contacts and a self-cleaning multi-leaf phosphor bronze brush.
Contact resistance is less than 140 microhms per decade.
Terminals: insulated will accept spade tags or 4mm banana plugs.
Calibration: Temperature 20 deg. Centigrade.
Test Voltage: 2kV dc between terminals and top panel.
